Frequently asked questions

How do I price a pressure washing job?

Measure each surface in square feet, pick the rate for the service type, adjust for soil level, then apply your minimum charge, tax and deposit. WashQuote does this math line by line and exports the PDF.

What is a typical pressure washing rate per square foot?

House washing $0.10–$0.50, driveways $0.20–$0.40, decks $0.25–$0.50, fences $0.30–$0.50, roof soft wash $0.20–$0.45, commercial flatwork $0.08–$0.25 per sq ft.

Should I charge a minimum price for small jobs?

Yes — most contractors set $99–$150 to cover travel, setup and chemicals. WashQuote compares your line subtotal to the minimum and applies the higher amount, shown clearly on the quote.

Does WashQuote send my data or my customers' data to a server?

No. All calculations run in your browser; names, addresses and prices never leave your device. The PDF is generated by your browser's print engine. The only optional exception: if you ask for an emailed copy of your quote, the address you type is used once for that send.

Is WashQuote free?

Yes. It is built for solo operators and small crews who need a fast, professional estimate without paying for a full field-service suite.

Can I use WashQuote on my phone at the customer's property?

Yes — the calculator is designed for exactly that: measure, quote, and text or print the PDF before you leave the driveway.
